FAQ

Do my friends need an account?
Not to see your list — public lists open from a link in any browser. Reserving a gift and getting birthday reminders do need one, and reminders only go to mutual friends.
Is my birthday public?
No. Only you and your mutual friends can see it, and only the month and day are stored — there is no year.
Will I see who reserved what?
No. Reservations are anonymous to everyone, including you. You only see that an item is covered, so the gift stays a surprise.
Can I reuse the list next year?
Yes. Mark what you received as owned, add new things, and share the same link again.
Is it free?
Yes. Things To Have is free to use without limits, and there's no paywall coming later.
