Share your wishlist

Sharing on Things To Have works with plain links: anyone you send a link to can open it in any browser. Nobody needs an account or an app to see your wishlist — perfect for sending a birthday or holiday list to friends and family.

Share a single list

  1. Make sure the list is public — only public lists are visible to others. You choose the visibility when creating a list and can change it any time by editing the list.
  2. Open the list on your profile.
  3. Copy the link from the address bar and send it to anyone.

When you paste the link in a chat or on social media, it shows a preview card with the list's contents.

Share your whole profile

Your profile at thingstohave.app/your-username shows all your public lists in one place.

  1. Open your profile.
  2. Tap Share on your profile card.
  3. You get your profile link and a QR code — copy the link, or let someone scan the code from your screen.

Check before you share

Not sure how your wishlist looks to others? On your profile, click What others see? — it opens your profile in guest mode, exactly as a visitor without an account sees it: only your public lists and things.

Keep in mind:

  • Private lists cannot be shared. Their links work only for you; anyone else gets a not-found page. Make the list public first.
  • Removing a list from public (switching it back to private) immediately breaks previously shared links to it.
