It closed. The Australian startup shut the app on 22 October 2025, four years after a $13M seed round. The company stated that the app had not reached the scale it needed.
Users were left mid-air. In fashion and frugal-shopping communities, one shopper wrote: "just got sent the email from the carted team that they're shutting down the app next week and am devastated."
Price tracking was the whole point. Most searches since then have been for price alerts.

Moving on without losing your lists
The closure of Carted showed that your wishlist needs to outlive the app where you keep it.
- Export what you can from the old service while your data is still reachable.
- Bring it into Things To Have from Settings → Data → Import data. Paste a list of links, or drop in a
.txt,.mdor JSON file. You see a preview of every item before the app saves it, and the app lists skipped rows so you can fix them. - Send the link to the people who need it. No one needs an account or an app to open your list, and that keeps the list useful when the next app closes.

Is there a free Carted replacement?
Yes. Things To Have is free with no paywall, and several apps in the comparison table are free as well. If you used Carted for price tracking, Moonsift and Wisher are the closest matches. Neither app is a complete replacement, so expect a narrower tool.
Will my data survive if the next app closes?
Your data will survive only if you can export it. The last column of the comparison table shows which tools allow this. If an app does not provide an export, you cannot move your saved items elsewhere when the service shuts down.
